ok, now that I have your attention...i need you all to log off of the site...I am sorry about this, but I have found out all of the proper information I needed to find out about...and we CAN INDEED migrate over to the new forum software, mybb, AND retain EVERYTHING(sort of) from the current forum...meaning threads, posts, users/accounts...however, NOT ALL of the user/profile data IS saveable/moveable...so I am taking the site offline now...HOPEFULLY, it will be back online either tonight before 11pm, or tomorrow before noon...eiter way, thanks guys for being patient...

this new forum system will BE MUCH better to use, easier to tweak/customize/modify, and is SUPPOSEDLY much lighter on resources...sorry guys...

and actually, I'm just going to take the site offline now...

thanks for your time and patience with me...*sigh* you all have NO idea how demanding it is to run a site, how time consuming, and how much effort goes into keeping it running error free***

***awww...go figure...he has me playing with my daughter, and I didnt even know about it...but then again, when I tried to merge the old forum/contents with this new one, it would not allow me to merge any of the pm's...keept erroring out when it tried to read them from the site's database...soo eeh...maybe he did try to tell me, and I just didnt get it due to that little issue right there...but everything is now up and running as it should be...and I REALLY GTG NOW...gota get my dang chores done, so that I dont lose access to my computer, and so that I CAN get back online here later on tonight...so gtg guys...
*waves* cya, and I CANT FREAKING WAIT till everyone finds out that the NEW version of the site is FINALLY back up and running, and so that the rp can ACTUALLY get back up and rolling...cause only having 2 or 3 of the like 7 rp members knowing that the site is back up, and that the rp can continue again, that kinda isnt enough for the rp to actually get going again, at least not efficiently... *sigh* but I'll be back on here just as soon as I am able to...cya again you guys...and let me know what you all think of the NEW style/site... just send me a pm with your thoughts on the new version of the website...***

***also guys...I dont know about you all, but the lack of a "go to bottom/last post" button is p1$$ing me off...once I get back on here later on, I'MA find a dang addon for this forum that does just that...

also, if you guys remember, as I'm sure you do, the number of times the site went offline...right??...well THAT was ALWAYS caused by a bad addon...because with the old forum system, ANYTHING you wanted to add/remove/tweak, REQUIRED a CORE FORUM SYSTEM FILE modification...

that essentially equates to this: if you were going to install something to windows, then the realistic senario for the forum as compared to windows, would meant hat in order to install ANYTHING to windows, you would have to decompile windows itself, and change THE CORE WINDOWS FILES in order to install anything...

this new forum, EWVERYTHING is an externally run file that the forum runs outside of its own files...essentially, like how a person would put on a hat...THAT is how this forum system runs addons...gota go now though...cya***
