*DB and Karen start running faster. Lightning strikes a tree right next to them. It falls and temporarily blocks their path. They start climbing over it to get to Will.*

*i turn and face Mady*{no...you need to make sure you and your child are safe}*i continue jogging to where the clouds/lightning started*

*shadows starts to becomeing complacent and slashing things around me*

<ok just make sure will is ok *heads inside*>

[Dat Basitin]

*DB and Karen reach Will he is unconscious. DB tries to reach will but gets slashed by one of the shadows.* {Stay back! Its too dangerous!}

[Nick]

*after Mady goes inside, i start sprinting towards Will, leaping over obstacles, and sometimes using the trees to get farther faster, and i catch up to DB and Karen, and i see Will*{shit...this isn't good...DB, any idea how to get to Will?}

[T2x]

*i stand up and breath like its cold*

[Dat Basitin]

{Not without dieing.} *DB tries to get to Will again with no luck. Karen just watches.*

{Will, you alright?}*i slowly approach Will, keeping an eye on the shadow-blades*

*Karen runs up.* <Wait! I have an idea.> *She pulls out a mana crystal makes a small shield out of a rock and tosses it to Nick.* <Strap that to your chest and I'll throw you to him.>

*holds arms up with head down and mumbling* power need more power

{Will, you don't need power...come on...what's wrong?}*i catch the stone shield, but only hold it in my hand*

[Dat Basitin]

*DB looks at Nick.* {I dont think he's listening Nick, just look at him. He looks possessed. I dont think he is with us right now!}

*shadows start cutting arms and starts dripping blood* what do you now

{DB, we have to try first...i won't attack a friend without a good reason...}*i look back at Will*{power corrupts...remember the arena yesturday? i could've let Fear corrupt me and make me stronger...but i didn't because i remembered my friends and family...Will, the only thing power does is corrupts your thinkging...}*i still approach Will*

[Dat Basitin]

*DB gets sliced again.* {Ow, then make it fast. I'm growing impatient.}

*Karen backs far away enough from the shadows not to get hit.*

*blood starts moving* but if i can't get strong im weak then i have no reason to live

{Thats it! I say we attack. Karen throw me.} *Karen throws DB over to Will and DB collides into Will.*

*i don't notice the amount of slashes i recieve*{Will, you DO have a reason to live...what about Mady and your unborn child? you need to keep them safe...}*i get within 5 steps of Will before DB was thrown, and upon seeing them struggling with each other on the ground, i rush to them and try to restrain Will, putting myself between them*

{Im not trying to kill him, Nick. I'm just trying to stop his shadow attack. This relic absorbs magical energy. Every time he attacks me it absorbs a bit more of his power. Once I restrain him we can calm him down.}
