First off, I have a choice of what I do... second, I'm under an oath that prevents me from going that part of a relation yet. To break the oath would render me no better than dead. Soul oaths are the hardest to break because if you do... it breaks you...

...I guess... and the fact that every Alpha that gets engaged takes this oath. It prevents pre-marriage intercourse and the man from cheating... the woman is not affected by the oath at all and could cheat if she wanted to. Had Catherine been really dead for one more year, I would been free to find someone else... Alpha males really have the short end of the stick in the pre-marriage relationship. I didn't have to take the oath, but keeping Alpha tradition alive is something I have to do. There is only tow of us left...
