*Karen chuckles a bit.* <She is getting the better of him already I see. Thats fine though. Not like the houses are any different from each other. Oh and Dat, wasnt there something you promised me you would say?>

{Yes. Nick I am ashamed for deserting you guys in the previous battle. I am unworthy to be here and I beg your forgiveness.} *DB bows*

*Karen watches approvingly*

[Nick]

{DB...you are not unworthy...every person, no matter how experienced, eventually finds a battle they want to retreat from...}

[Dat Basitin]

*Karen whispers to nick.* <Aww. cant you harass him just a little?>

[Nick]

[*mentally to Karen:*  i would, but i know a Basitin's temper...besides, you should have seen him at the battle for my citizenship to be allowed into the Basitin cities...he was strong then...he's sure to be stronger now...]

[Dat Basitin]

*Karen processes this thought then frowns. DB shakes Nicks hand.* {Thanks.}

[Nick]

*i smirk*{better be ready to beg alot for FL's forgiveness though...she sounded pretty pissed...}

[Dat Basitin]

*Mark finally reaches an unbearable memory and stands up. He finally walks out of the closet and sees Luxa in the kitchen.*

*DB shudders at the thought.* {Pray my soul finds a better place when she kills me.} *DB said jokingly*

[Nick]

L-"Mark, you in the house?  i wanted to know if you're hungry..."

{she wouldn't kill ya...}*i sensed DB's jokingness*

[Iceick]

***Alright I'm back. Just give me a little bit to catch up with what's going on***
*Frost is in his cabin with a "do not disturb" sign on the front building something*

[Dat Basitin]

*Mark walks over and sits at the table.* <No, I'm good. I ate before looking at the houses.> *He pulls back out the spell book he never got to start reading.*

*DB sits at the fire and waits for Flora.*

L-"alright..." *Luxa puts enough ingredients to make soup for 1*

[Dat Basitin]

*Mark turns through a few pages and sets the book back down.* <Medical magic is so odd. Nothing like what I am used to. Most of my spells are used to lie or cheat. These spells go against that very nature.>

****rofl...who ever said theyd laugh if the hug lasted for more than an hour was waaay off...it lasted for quite a bit of time...and had nick not ended it, it woulda gone on for far longer seeing as I"M JUST NOW completely caught up...***

*I finally walk our of where I had fallen on top of nick hugging him while laying on him*
ooh...there you are db...
*I dawn a twistedly evil grin*
sooo...how about you deserting us back there...mind explaining what the h3ll was going on in your mind now...hmm??
*I continue to walk towards db*
*I get all the way up to db at the fire*
*but before db can even begin to explain himself, I slap him across the face so hard it leaves a handprint*
*my eyes begin to tear up*
how...how...just how could you desert us, your friends, in a battle THAT extreme??
would you have been able to live with yourself had we all died??  and just what would you have done if we all did die??
*tears running down my face*
I...I thought I could count on you...yet you were just going to leave us there...leave us there while you ran away...why...just why db?? why??
*I hug nick, still crying slightly*

[Nick]

*i hug FL back*{Flora, it'll be ok...it'll be ok...we're still here, and we're all fine}

[Dat Basitin]

*DB upon trying to explain himself realizes that there is really no explanation for what he did.* {I... I dont know. I am ashamed.} *DB takes a step backward from flora and falls into the fire.*

[Nick]

{DB!}
*Luxa hears my yell, puts the pot of soup she made on a safe surface, then runs outside, sees DB in the fire and rushes over, pulling him out*

*my eyes go wide as tears still roll down my face*
DB...NOO...you stupid fool...STUPID STUPID STUPID STUPID
*I then rush over to db, brush off all of the flames still on him, and try to heal him, failing miserably*
db...no...no...NO THIS CANT BE HAPPENING...NOT RIGHT NOW, AND NOT TO YOU!!
*my body begins to glow a light blue, and it seems as if a light blue beam is flowing from my body, onto db*

[Nick]

*i take DB's helmet off him, run to the lake, fill his helmet with water, rush back and try to cool him off with the water*

[Dat Basitin]

*Mark runs out of the house.* <What is going... oh> *He sees the crowd of people around DB.*

*Karen is still to shocked to even move.*

[Nick]

*i keep running back and forth to and from the lake, trying to get water to cool DB down*
