Naw, black magic use is more common then you think... I've seen people who have turn completely... Demon-like creatures with no memories of their own and use their magic to destroy everything in their path. There ALMOST as hard to kill as a real dragon... but a weakness to light makes them extremely easy to kill when your prepared.
