PRE-BETA download

found out a few days ago, that after all the work I put into the download of the pre-beta version of Ashes Of Redemption, that the installer is a dud.

what does that mean? it means I have an installer that installs NOTHING to your computer.

so, that said, once I get the time, likely after I've started back at walmart here within the next few weeks, I will have to remake the installer, so that the installer actually packages the game file itself into the installation.

so in the meantime, please be patient with me as I do not have a lot of free time to do much of anything right now.

so after this wait you all will finally be able to preview ashes of redemption...even though I thought this was the case for a while now.

sorry for the confusion on my end everyone!

in the meantime, have the game file itself to tinker around with!

enjoy playing around with it, but please do keep in mind, that at this point, ashes of redemption is still PRE-BETA software, meaning that I do not even have enough of it programmed up for me to classify it as a demo yet.  all I have thus far is enough to be considered a proof of concept.

this version, just for the record, so that I have a way to track my upload versions, is version 1.0.0.7

after reading some posts from dream in code.net about how uploading the straight up .exe file being suspicious and sketchy, I am re-editing this post to update with the installer for my game, granted it is not done in the way that I would LOVE it to be, because I'll have to buy a license to it first before it will do what I want it to....but regardless it functions well enough to upload it all the same....

BE WARNED, YOU MUST have the .net platform 4.0 installed in order to install my game...  link to said download can be found below.

Please do bear in mind however, that the only two systems that I have tested AND CONFIRMED this game working on, is windows xp, and windows 7, I do not yet have personal proof that this game either runs or works as intended on either windows vista, or windows 8/8.1.  so if any of you guys' and girls' test this and can verify that it does indeed run on any of those yet untested systems, then please, let me know!  thanks!
