just a bit of clarification for versions

ok, so seeing as there is no official threads on this board about any kind of release versions, I figured I might as well post something to clarify what I will be classifying as an official release.

so here goes:

seeing as I use visual studios 2010, and that there is no real way to have any version less than 1.0.0.0, I will classify an OFFICIAL release of my game as anything past 1.1.0.0 or 2.0.0.0.

anything less than one of those two, depending on which one I decide to go with, will be classified as either pre-beta software, or beta software respectively. currently it is in the pre-beta software stage.

if you still think you would like to test it and see what all is going on and/or what all is done, then you can head over to the beta sub board and download what is made thus far...keep in mind however that if you do that, it is, as of now, nowhere even close to beta form.

however, for future reference, even after I have released a full version, that will be the board that I post copies of the game to in between official releases.

so that said, that will ALWAYS be the beta release board, not just the beta prior to official release, that said, if you ever want to test any of the new features of my game prior to official releases then you can head over there to see the beta copies first hand prior to completion of official versions. do keep in mind however, that if you do that, that there is no guarantee that it will be bug-free.
