Future Planned Features as of 01/11/12
* a "pet" type system, to where if your lucky, you'll get the option to capture a "pet" or if your even luckier, the option for a pet to WANT to join you in your adventures.
* the ability to train your "pet"
* planned updates / new versions of the game as often as we get the chance to do so, each version bringing new features, possibly removing older ones that are out-dated, and bringing new characters and quests, and possibly even expanding the explorable map/world of the game
* newer and greater features as we come up with them for you all to enjoy
* random events, some of which are useless, some of which are of value, some of which to screw with you, and yet others just to amuse the crap out of you...
* potentially a page that you could use to send bug reports to use from right inside the actual game...but that one will likely be one of the harder features for us to figure out a way to get working and working the way we want.

XD...I just realized that I'd completely forgot to post some of the most awesome planned features that we WANT VERY MUCH to add to the game in either one of its future released versions, or if we are feeling like it is a MUST HAVE feature that NEEDS to be in the prototype, and we are willing to delay the beta release of the game, then it will be in the game's beta release... these features include the following:
1) an inventory system
2) an equipment system to where you can use an wear different types of equipment to aid in your gameplay
3) an equipment enhancement system where you can either (we haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards the second option)
3a) pay money to attempt to enhance your equipment, and you'll either get lucky, it will do something good, or you wont get lucky, and it will do something bad, or it will do nothing at all
3b) or you can use materials that you either find, or if your lucky, you can buy somewhere, to manually upgrade your equipment by using said items, and (I'M debating on this one) we will either have a set list of items, each being already pre-made, that you can equip to a given piece of equipment to add features to it...kind of like what guildwars did with their upgrade system, but that one was limited to one enhancement per type per item, and i don't know if I really like that system... so I am leaning towards the option to infinitely upgrade your items from materials that you can collect. either that, or like in tales of symphonia, you have a little window that shows the item type that you can make based upon the equipment that you have, and when you browse over it, it lists the required materials... but that wasn't all that awesome either.
4) the ability to store items that you physically have no room for in your inventory, inside of a bank type system, to where you cannot possibly lose them, not even if you are killed in battle by an enemy
5) we are debating on making a system to where if you are killed in battle, you lose some sort of item from your inventory, for example, if you are carrying gold with you, the enemy could potentially steal some of your gold from you
6) and speaking of carrying gold with you, that reminds me that I totally forgot to say that we are also planning on having a system to where when you defeat an enemy, they would potentially drop some loot, the loot quantity would vary and be random of course, but the value of the loot would also vary based upon the toughness of the enemy, for example, if you are fighting a boss battle, and you defeat the boss, then the boss would drop loot of much more value than say your run of the mill mugger type character
7) we also plan on having multiple types of enemies, from category type ( evader, attack spammer/spam healer, mage/spellcaster, and others as we go along) to difficulty type ( average mugger, rat, bosses, thieves/pickpockets, and many others as we go along here too) and each type, as stated in the previous feature, will drop different types and values of loot, some might not even drop anything at all
8 ) each type of enemy, from each category and difficulty, will drop different types of loot, as has become a redundant list of features, and within that category, they might also just drop varying values of equipment enhancement materials, but now that I'm thinking about this feature, I also think that I will not say what materials are actually materials that one could use to enhance equipment, so be fore warned, youd better think about discarding a given item before you do so, because you might just be discarding an equipment material.
9) and speaking of upgradeable equipment, I just realized that the ability to actually MAKE your own equipment sounds appealing to me right now... so I think that I will make that a planned feature as well...
10) last but not least in this writing, for I must begin to get ready for work now, due to there being a lot of snow on the ground and driving conditions being quite hazardous due to the snow and the high winds, I must leave BY 11 to get there by 11:30, and I have not gotten ready as of yet... but the last feature I will DEFINATELY be adding to the game is an inventory/bank item limit system... because our game's file size is only going to drastically increase as we add more features...
11) and speaking of an inventory/bank size limit, that reminded me that one of the games I have played, did have such a thing, and as you were a beginning player on your first day, you only had say 10 item slots in your carriyable inventory, but you also had the ability to actually find bags, and put the bags in your inventory, and each bag had its own size limit, and for each bag that you put in your inventory bag, how ever much that second bag could hold, was how much your inventory increased in size... so that is something that I would like to add to our game as well...
but that is all for right now, because I MUST get ready now...haven't even eaten lunch yet, and still have to shower...bye for now everyone...and I hope that you all look forward to at the very least, the public beta of our game...

not sure if I had mentioned this one before, but here it is again if I have...
*a gender system with minor realistic gender based stats variations
*the goal to make the game and its various game play systems as realistic as possible
there are a few other planned features of which I do not currently remember right at this very moment...will post them once I happen to remember them...

just found a very appealing character class online that I do believe that I will make into the game either as a random event that you have to obtain in order to change your character class to such, or you will need to get it as a promotional code, and if we choose the later, then we will need to create a way to where the code can either only be used for a certain date, or to where it will have to be a custom generated promotional code for each and every persons specific game account... I personally have not decided which way we will do this, but it will take some time to decide this...
* the class known as the "soul linked" class, where you gain extra exp in the class that your enemy specializes in... for example, if you enemy is a mage/sorcerer, then in addition to the normal exp that you gain from defeating them, you would gain additional exp towards, for this example, the mage/sorcerer skills, but this would be extra exp above and beyond what you gain for defeating the enemy... so you get the same exp as you would with every other character class, as well as this specialized exp.
also, been too long since either myself, or The Blue Phoenix have posted on here...been quite busy, especially with installing and setting up the newer site programs / systems to our site...
