I tried to log on using my computer, but I got this message :
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionaly, a 404 Not Found was encountered while trying too use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I was able to log in on my phone, but I can't use it to join the adventure.

Curious...although this individual board was intended to be used for the help dezk part of the site :p but I don't care...interesting...all I know for zure, however I am not sure whynthat might have happened at other times, is that between 4 and 6 am on Saturday, someone was DOS attacking us, and got the site to have the CPU restricted, so that timeframe I could see having issues...but I logged into the hosting side of things earlier today, and didn't see any issues in the resource log...so iuno ahat woulda caused it for you guys :/ sorry...

I've tried Firefox and Explorer. Tried rebooting my computer and running an antivirus. But so far nothing seems to work. Anyone have any other ideas that would let me log on from my computer? My cellphone is too slow to upload a page for me to join the party and I have an update for Ritz's picture that I can only post from my computer.

iceick...I just remembered something...I DID block 1 ip address...only 1...and it just now reminded me that I had posted something somewhere asking everyone to keep an eye out to see if anyone was unable to log into the site afterwords...that MIGHT have been the ip address of your pc...that said...let me try unblocking that IP, and IF YOU CAN then login again, then the problem of the site using too much cpu resources would have in turn been caused by you...so if you CAN log into the site again from your desktop, then you would have been the reason the site had resources limited for an hour each time...

so I guess what I'm saying here, is try to log back in from your desktop here in say 15 minutes, and IF YOU CAN log in again...then that means that your using the site way, way too frequently, and you need to just lighten up A BIT on the usage...now nowhere do I mean you need to not be on the site less than you are...just saying, try to lighten up on say...refreshing, for example, as much...just some small stuff...dont have to do anything drastic...but every little bit helps...I will also take this time to tweak the site's settings a bit more to also lighten up the load on the server...for example, make each page of a thread show say, 5 posts less per page than they are now...just some simple stuff like that...we can all help the sites resources...but ultimately, I'm going to be the one that lightens the resources by tweaking the forums settings...but anyways...unblocking that IP now...try to log in again in about 15 to 30 minutes...but 5 should be enough...

sorry if that WAS you that I ended up blocking...all I know, is that upon blocking the ip, the site was no longer hitting 100% usage of a 16 core processor XD... 100% OF A 16 CORE PROCESSOR...ROFL...that just sounds so dang amusing to me when I say that...lol...

ok I KNOW FOR A FACT that I blocked 1 ip address...but wouldnt you know it??? when I open the IP address block list panel of the sites control panel, wouldnt ya know it? but it says that NOTHING is beign blocked...

BS...I KNOW I BLOCKED SOMEONE...but nope...according to the hosting admin panel, NOBODY is being blocked...

also...NO my computer isnt working again yet...using a bootable linux live cd :3...and ironically enough, its one I've never heard of prior to using it...but ITS BAD@$$...

went to try and find out if any users have the ip address of the person that was dosing us a few days ago...and couldnt figure it out on where to look on the forum...

stumbled across a log system for the forum itself...and
HOLY SWEET MOTHER OF JEBUS...

EFFING 237 PAGES OF LOGGED ERRORS...and icy, will, nick, db, MYSELF, and thats just the people I saw on the first page
ALL HAVE BEEN HABING ERRORS...so that might explain something for you db and will...

THE SCARRY THING IS THAT EVERY ERROR IS THE SAME EXACT ONE...soooo...I know what I'm going to be doing here the next chance I get x.x...LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE ERROR THATS SHOWN ON THE FIRST PAGE IS THE EXACT ONE...IDENTICAL ERROR...

so I shall be doing some research into this error...and hopefully that will alleviate the issues youve been having icy...I didnt even KNOW that I was having issues...DIDNT EVEN KNOW THAT...what the eff is going on here???
